Exploring Grey

Over the next couple months, my husband and I will have some family and friends coming to stay with us.  We have been trying to get out to at least one new place each weekend in search of fun and interesting things to do with our visitors.  Last weekend, we went HERE, it was a nice day and it made a nice walk with some history education as well.  It was a Saturday, so I wanted to wear something that was comfy for a bit of a walk, but would also look chic enough for a bite out at a local restaurant and a trip to the farmers market afterwards.

I am a big fan of turquoise and over the years I have received a few pieces as gifts from my parents.  These earrings were a gift that my mom brought back from a trip to San Antonio.  The necklace was handmade by my mother in law.  She is very talented at making jewelry, she even made the large blue beads in this necklace.  It goes perfectly with my other turquoise pieces.

I love Minnetonka moccasins.  They are unbelievable comfortable and I like the way they look.

Jeans: Free People (similar) and (similar)
Shoes: Minnetonka
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (similar)
Sunglasses: Beeline for Old Navy (only sold in stores)

I wasn't really interested in venturing into this ceremonial temple.  Our little puppy was a braver soul than I and pranced right in.  Here he is coming back out, looking quite pleased with himself!

Hope you had a great weekend.
