Rainy Day Blues

I take comfort in rainy days.  There is a nice calmness in the pitter patter of raindrops and the mild grey sky.  I look at these days as an excuse to laze around the house just a little bit longer in the morning.  The northeast has been experiencing such a snowy winter this year.  Here in Georgia,  we seem to experience their snow as rain.  While I do feel a bit cheated to be missing out on all those snow days, I am quite happy to slip on all my rainy day favorites.

Hunter Wellies are a high quality classic that speak for themselves.  I love Cath Kidston and have been a huge fan of her bags and accessories since I first discovered them in 2006.  Most of her bags are made out of PVC, which makes them durable, water resistant and easy to clean.  The print of this bag is cute and cheery to brighten up a rainy day with the practicality of a material that the rain just rolls right off of.  Hunter and Cath Kidston are two iconic British brands that happen to be great at keeping you dry.  After all, who knows more about keeping dry than the Brits!

What's your favorite rainy day activity?
I like to catch up on craft projects while I watch a movie or two.
